For nearly two centuries, Terra has been involved in the adventure of the sugarcane industry in Mauritius. Since the acquisition of Le Domaine de Belle-Vue by Victor, Charles and Eugene Harel in 1838, the group has gone through the 19th and 21st century and became one of the leading and most respected groups in the region.
Acquisitions, diversification, birth of new subsidiaries, obstacles and natural disasters, find all the highlights of the group in the interactive exhibition ‘Passer par l’avenir’ which is still present at l’Aventure du Sucre’s Museum at Pamplemousses.
